Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  • 1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing & Dip Mix

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, ranch dressing mix, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 days.

Notes

  • For a thicker ranch dressing, add 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
  • For a spicier ranch dressing, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
  • To make a vegan ranch dressing, substitute vegan mayonnaise and buttermilk.
